A book for parents
Mother’s Milk,
Baby’s Burden?
Exploring the hidden connections between maternal health and infant symptoms — and what can be done about them.
For the parent who senses there is more to the story — and hasn’t yet been given a full explanation.
Written in plain language and without alarm, this book looks at how a mother’s own internal environment can relate to the symptoms a baby shows in the earliest months. It is meant to inform and to reassure — an explanation offered gently, for parents rather than clinicians.
However you feed your baby — breast, formula, or both — is treated here as a settled, ordinary part of family life. There is no right kind of parent, and nothing on these pages is meant to diagnose, treat, or direct your particular situation. For that, your own care team is always the place to turn.
This site is taking shape. More about the book — and the printed food-tracking workbook — is on the way.
